Newton Hills State Park is comprised of over 840 densely wooded acres. The oak covered hills provide an ideal environment for a wide variety of plants and animals. Located six miles south of Canton, South Dakota the park offers visitors a 123 unit campground with electrical hookups, modern comfort stations with hot showers and camping cabins. 

Camping Reservations
Reservations can only be made through a central 1-800 number and can be made only 90 days in advance. That means you need to call after May 2nd to reserve your spot. All Camping fees must be paid at the time of your reservation. The toll free number is 1-800-710-CAMP.
