Oyster Stew

Oyster Stew will be making a special South Dakota appearance on their 3-day summer tour. Stirring the pot with a new set of tunes for this year's festival are Rocky Mountain Oyster alumni, Tim Coates, guitar; Joe Erickson, guitar/mandolin/fiddle; Neil Isaacson, bass; Tom Schaefer, fiddle; and the driving rythm of drummer Bob Gripp. They'll spice it up with an eclectic mix of vocal and instrumental tunes ranging from riveting reels to the phonetic frenzy of John Hartford. The tour will simmer at the Old Courthouse August 6th in Sioux Falls and come to a full boil August 7th and 8th at the Sioux River Folk Festival.
