Bill Peterson
hails from Canton, SD, and formerly played fiddle for the Celtic band
"Slainte". His new band, "Fiddler Nelson" was formed
in January of 2003 and plays mostly fiddle tunes in the Missouri Valley
style, which he learned from Red Lamb of Onawa, Iowa. Bill currently
leads the Fiddle Club, an offshoot of the Sioux Empire Youth Symphony,
at monthly meetings.
John Everist
is from Brandon and has been playing music for a hobby for 35 years. John
played guitar in local rock bands for years. He took up the clawhammer
style of banjo two years ago and has flung himself headfirst into oldtime
music, attending banjo camps and festivals across the country.
Evan Everist
is a student at Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington, majoring in
music. He plays guitar for Fiddler Nelson whenever he is in the area.
