Newton Hills Hoedown 2009
June 26 & 27 | Newton Hills State Park

Music starts at 2pm. Admission includes entertainment and off site camping at the afterparty both nights. Food vendors will be present. Free shuttle to the campsite, so everyone can have fun! l

Bands include: Snakebeard Jackson, the Smoke & Mirrors Band, Burlap Wolf King, Useful Jenkins, Jami Lynn and The Aquila Band,The Johnson Family Bands, Dopplegarten, Herbalyzah, Ghostwood, Lunar Funk Theory and more TBA SOON.

Dakota Irish Fair 2009
June 25 | Sioux Falls

Upper Falls Park, 5th & Phillips
3:00 - 10:00pm. Admission FREE.

Irish cultural even with Irish music, dance, sports, kids activities, heritage & geneology and a 'drop in' music tent.

Featuring: Sioux Falls Ceili Band, Dakota District Pipes & Drums, Mike Conner & The Shamrockers, and The Wild Colonial Bhoys.

Sioux River Folk Festival
July 31, Aug 1, and 2 | Newton Hills State Park

This year's bands are Peter Wernick and Flexigrass,
the Quebe Sisters Band, Snakebeard Jackson, and Dave Moore performing on Friday.

Saturday, performers are Peter Wernick and Flexigrass, the Quebe Sisters Band, Jami Lynn and the Acquila Band, the Sioux Falls Ceili Band, and (Saturday only) Chris Gage and Christina Albert. Saturday morning, there will be workshops at the Second Stage. The Campground Contest will be from 5 - 6.

Sunday, Peter Wernick and Flexigrass will perform the Gospel show.
